Your Event Assets Are Safe, Private, and Yours

At GuestCam, your trust is everything. That’s why we’ve built multiple layers of protection to keep your data and event content secure—from the moment it’s uploaded to long after the event is over.

Core Security Measures:

• Encrypted from End to End: All data transferred between your device and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS (TLS), ensuring that photos, videos, voicemails, and personal details can’t be intercepted in transit.
• Secure Cloud Infrastructure: Your data is hosted on trusted, U.S.-based cloud storage providers with built-in redundancy, strong encryption at rest, and continuous monitoring.
• Access Controls: Only authorized GuestCam personnel can access system-level data—and only when needed to troubleshoot or support specific user requests. Access is granted only with the explicit permission of the event owner.
• Search Engine Protection: By default, your event gallery is hidden from search engine indexing, helping prevent public discovery or exposure.
• Ongoing Security Practices: We follow modern security standards, perform regular system audits, and stay updated with best practices for securing cloud-based applications.

Advanced Privacy Controls for Hosts:

Beyond the foundational protections, GuestCam gives event owners full control over how private and secure they want their event to be:

• Customizable Guest Permissions: Control what guests can and can’t do—like uploading content, and downloading.
• Host Collaborator Roles: Invite trusted collaborators with customizable permissions, so you stay in control even when delegating.

You (the event owner) retain full ownership of your content. We’re here to help you collect and organize event media—not to take control of it.

For Event Hosts:

As the event owner, you have full rights over everything uploaded to your event, including photos, videos, and audio recordings. You can view, download, share, or delete any content at any time. GuestCam does not claim ownership of any media uploaded to your events.

For Guests:

Guests who upload content maintain ownership of their individual submissions but grant the event host permission to access and use their uploads. This includes displaying them in the gallery, downloading for memories, or sharing beyond GuestCam.

No Platform Ownership:

GuestCam will never use, sell, or distribute your content for advertising, marketing, or training purposes. We don’t run ads, and we don’t monetize your memories.

In short: your content belongs to you, not us—and we’ve designed the platform to reflect that.
