To prevent usage abuse, we have reasonable limitations that protect both our platform and customers. Each event on GuestCam is subject to these these limitations:
Storage
We don't put a hard limit on the number of photos and videos your events can receive. However, we do have a storage limit for each event. To find out how much storage space your event has, just multiply the guest limit of your package by 1GB. For example, if your event has a guest limit of 100, the total storage available would be 100GB. For most events, the provided storage is more than enough. We'll send you an email notification when your event storage usage exceeds 80%. If you receive this email, the best course of action is to either upgrade to the next guest limit or delete some uploads.
Playable video minutes:
When a video is uploaded to your event, GuestCam converts it into a format that can be played on various devices and platforms. This helps to enhance the overall user experience. However, this conversion process can be resource-intensive and expensive. To protect our platform, we have set a limit on the number of video minutes we can transcode or that can be watched in your gallery. If this limit is reached, we will still store the originally uploaded video on our servers, which can be downloaded and watched. For most events, the provided playable minutes is more than enough. We'll send you an email notification when your event transcoding minutes usage exceeds 80%. If you receive this email, the best course of action is to upgrade to the next guest limit. Here are the limits per event guests limit:
